Pharmacy Technician Program Manager - High School Level

Frederick County Public Schools, VA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician Academy Program Manager. We are located in the Shenandoah Valley, just 65 miles west of Washington, D.C. FCPS is one of the fastest growing counties in Virginia serving nearly 14,000 students with 12 elementary, four middle, three high schools and two learning centers. Our on-time graduation rate is 93%.

Candidates must be eligible for, or hold, a Virginia teaching license with a Pharmacy Technician endorsement as well as hold a current Virginia Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist License. Candidates must be proficient in applying the principles of curriculum planning, learning and teaching, and evaluation as they relate to the role of the pharmacy technician program manager. Excellent human relations, interpersonal communications, conflict resolution, organizational and planning skills are required. Must have the ability to recognize and respond to individual student differences. Must be able to work in a collaborative and cooperative manner with parents, co-workers, school staff, service providers, and community partners.

This is a part-time/10 month/200 day position. This position is effective for the 2023-2024 school year.
