Our company is looking for a professional and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our busy team. Our ideal candidate is a personable individual who will work closely with our pharmacy staff to ensure that the needs of our patients are met. The only requirement is a high school diploma or GED, no professional license required, and all training needed provided, but candidates with previous pharmacy experience will be given preference. All members of the pharmacy team are responsible for dispensing medication and providing outstanding customer service to patients, insurance providers, doctors and other members of the community. In addition, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and completing various administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications according to doctors' prescriptiono
• Demonstrate drug knowledge and safety.
• Keep accurate medical records.
• Keep up-to-date on medical news and awareness, as well as education programs.
• Communicate with doctors, nurses, and patients.
• Meet legislated standards for pharmacies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
