Provides timely and exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. This may include completing transactions or bill payments as necessary. Possesses strong communication skills to appropriately explain bill details to patients when questions arise. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year of customer service experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
EXPERIENCE:
1. At least one year of experience in the healthcare setting preferred.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. They are not intended to be constructed as an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities and duties. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Receives & scans signature slips daily.
2. Balances register nightly and weekly deposit.
3. Keeps accurate payroll deduction documentation.
4. Assists Business Pharmacy Care Coordinators with monthly statements.
5. Notifies pharmacy staff that a patient is ready for their medication pick-up.
6. Accurately processes transactions.
7. Files gas receipts.
8. Verifies payroll deduction accounts. Sets up as necessary.
9. Assists shipping technician with mailing AHS welcome packets.
10. Collects new patient in-take forms for Clinical Technician data entry.
11. Handles payments on patient accounts.
12. Verifies periodically that payroll deductions match the payroll deduction payment choice in the dispensing software.
13. Answers and screens phone calls made to the front desk.
14. Receives and directs visitors.
15. Checks visitor credentials as necessary and ensure they sign in.
16. Assist Administrative Assistant or other staff as necessary.
