Job Summary and Qualifications

The pharmacist is responsible for the safe, effective, and cost-effective selection and utilization of medications for the patients in which they serve. The pharmacist liaises between the Emergency Department and pharmacy to coordinate patient care and education. We have an amazing team; apply today!

• You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and represent the pharmacy knowledgeably and professionally.
• You will plan and implement pharmaceutical care.
• You will ensure regulatory and quality measures are followed.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD. From an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Graduate of an accredited PGY1 residency program preferred.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• BCPS certification preferred.
• Minimum of three to five years of hospital pharmacy experience in a focused specialty area. Preferred areas of focus; Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Infectious Disease/Antimicrobial Stewardship.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
