The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a community health center in Waterloo, Iowa.

This position will work part-time at the outpatient clinic (FQHC) and part-time in the school-based clinics in Waterloo schools.

Position Details:

• Schedule: full time, 40 hours per week with 1 evening clinic on W or TH
• Clinic Hours: 8 – 5 M/T/F; 8-8 W/TH
• Patients: 10-12 patients per day
• Number of Exam Rooms: 3
• Current Staff:
• Call: 1 of every 6-7 nights, very light phone calls in the evening for clinic patients, no patient care on the weekends.

Health Center Overview:

• Coming in 2023: This community health center will be moving to a centralized, best-in-class electronic health record, Epic. This will take place along with 10 other community health centers in Iowa. This nearly statewide collaboration is a new, unique national model, and will provide an integrated, standard, and comprehensive EHR system to support Iowa’s community health centers in both rural and urban areas of the state.
