What You'll Do as a Payroll Specialist

• Process semi-monthly payrolls for several Baxter stores, duties including data entry, reconciliation, and auditing.
• Serve as the main contact for YOUR stores by handling all payroll-related inquiries (via phone, email, and in-person) from employees, managers, and outside agencies.
• Maintain payroll Excel templates used for communicating one-off payroll entries
• Facilitate a good working relationships with the HR Department, Accounting Department, and stores.
• Operate with a high level of autonomy in a team environment – empowered to use critical thinking skills to work through various payroll situations
• Other duties assigned by management.

What You'll Need as a Payroll Specialist

• 1+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience strongly preferred
• High attention to detail and the desire to use critical thinking skills to resolve everyday payroll matters.
• Ability to perform multiple duties while meeting strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is strongly preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our most important customers…our employees!
