A & B Pawn & Jewelry, Inc. is a large pawn shop in Van Buren, AR. We are professional, social, fun and our goal is to Provide the best service possible to all customers. We only hire upbeat & positive employees who will provide no drama to our happy atmosphere.

We are open from 7:45 AM until 5:30 PM Monday - Friday and from 7:45 AM - 4 PM on Saturday.

We are looking for experienced pawn & sales associates to join our team. The right candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a high-level of personal energy. They will need to be able to connect with a diverse range of customers and maintain a professional demeanor while selling products and providing customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Writing Pawn & Purchase Tickets
• Sell merchandise to customers.
• Carrying pawn items to back warehouse
• Answering Phones

Requirements

• Must not have a felony or medical marijuana card.
• Must have your own vehicle that you will have at work during your shift.
• Must be at least 21.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

You must be dependable and have a strong work ethic. We have a great group of current employees who will help train you. We want to only hire people who are positive and leave their drama at home. We have a very relaxed atmosphere, but we do expect you to show up for work and complete your entire shift. If you can't be dependable please do not apply. We have a relaxed dress code, but we do expect you to be neat and clean when you show up. You will be around firearms so you must be able to pass a background check.

We start pay at $14/hour. Applicants with additional skills related to this industry, forklift certification and bilingual abilities will be started at a higher pay rate. We will start at a much higher pay rate than listed for the right person. We also offer bonuses and we do give raises throughout the year.
