Job description

SUMMARY
This position reports to the Sr. Security Event Manager and will work from 12am - 8am at Gillette Stadium providing access control to restricted areas the night before an event.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide access point security looking in fixed location for unattended or suspicious items.

• Report any suspicious or unattended items to security command.

• Proactively prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing assigned area.

• Check credentials or conduct inspections of bags and/or individuals who do have access to the restricted area.

• May be assigned to be inside a security vehicle at a fixed location.

• Report any issues to the security command supervisor.

• Document any incidents

• Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous security experience preferred

• Attentive to detail and observant

• Effective listening and communication skills, oral and written

• Ability to remain calm and work under pressure

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to work extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment in various temperatures and weather conditions

• Ability to work all mandatory events

• Availability during nights, weekends, and holidays

• The noise level in the WORK ENVIRONMENT is usually loud on event days
