Title: Patient Services Representative
Location: Lacey, WA,
Duration: 12+ Months with high possibility of extension

Responsibilities may include but not limited too:

Job Summary:

Overall Client Pitch: Centralized Staffing staffs MAs and PSRs across the PMG SW organization which spans from Lacey to Olympia and down to Centralia. This is a group of Primary Care and Specialty outpatient clinics. The PSRs in centralized staffing will get their staffing assignment each morning by 7:30am via text on where to report to so they must be flexible to go to a variety of clinics. Long term they will find their FTE home with a specific clinic.

What does the average day look like for this person?

• Floating to a variety of clinics - primary care and specialty
• Great way to find out which clinics are a good match long term!
• Checking in patients and checking out
• Entering demographic information and taking co-pays
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• EPIC
• variety of duties will depend on the clinic

What does the clinic/team look like (how many employees, volume, job roles, etc.)?

• Each clinic varies
• Primary Care
• Peds
• OB/GYN/Womens Health
• Cardiology
• Neurology
• Dermatology

Must Haves

PSR experience is ideal but open to a variety of customer service, soft skills/customer service is #1 screening criteria

Must be flexible to go to a variety of clinics

Must have cell phone that accepts texts for daily assignment and reliable transportation

What are the technical skills this person has to have?

EPIC preferred but not required

What are the soft skills this person has to have?

Compassionate, believes in the Providence Mission, excellent customer service and flexible! Personality/soft skills match are #1!

Required Years of Experience?

totally open to all levels of experience, soft skills are #1 criteria, willing to train hard skills.

Hours/Week: 40

Shift: M-F 8-5 ish(depending on the clinic)

Candidates will get a text each morning telling them where they are floating to

First week they will train with centralized staffing & next couple weeks they will train in clinics

Job Type: Contract

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lacey, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
