About the job:

The Patient Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of bed assignments for all admissions (elective and emergent) to and transfers within Mount Carmel Health System in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines. The Patient Logistics Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Patient Placement Coordinators-RN and Nursing Supervisors to optimize patient flow throughout the organization to ensure accurate patient placement. The Patient Logistics Coordinator supports the Mission of Trinity Health and MCHS.

Requirements:

• High School/GED required. Post-secondary education desired

• Medical Terminology preferred

• Multi-Skilled Tech/Patient Care Tech experience preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare related setting
