Job Title: New Patient Coordinator
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension) Yes, role can turn in to an FTE role.
Work Location: Newport Beach, CA., 92663.
Parking / Cost: FREE
Shift: 8 hour day shifts, Monday- Friday 8-5

Must Haves:
During the Interview the job seeker MUST be able to demonstrate IN DEPTH knowledge of all insurance types knowledge of all insurance types***
Insurance verification background is a MUST****
High school graduate or GED
MUST HAVE knowledge of an EMR system
2+ years’ experience in acute care or ambulatory care setting preferred.
Familiarity with Word processing, Microsoft Outlook.
Analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to analyze patient data from multiple systems.
Quality management skills including ability to identify quality metrics and tracking of complex regulatory.

Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.

Register, schedule appointments, authorizations, and request medical records prior to all new patient appointments. Assists/coordinates patient appointments and follow up, focusing on the initial evaluation. Admits and completes financial paperwork and financial clearance for new and existing potential patients.
Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently. Must be comfortable with computers and medical terminology. In depth knowledge of all insurance types. Provides back-up to admitting coordinator as needed. Assists the office with clerical duties and other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:
