Build Legacy Athletics (BLA) is looking for someone to fill our Social Media Assistant position for the Build Legacy Basketball Academy & Betis Academy Arizona. Our academies are based and train out of the West Valley and all onsite work will be done in primarily the Avondale & Goodyear areas.
This person will be responsible for assisting with the social media initiatives for Build Legacy Athletics and our academies which will include assisting with obtaining photo & video content, editing of that media, and posting onto our social media platforms.
The ideal candidate will need to meet the following requirement for this position:
- Video & photo editing experience
- Extensive knowledge & experience working with social media platforms (primarily Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & TikTok)
- Enjoys sports & knows what is posted on social media (Soccer & basketball)
- Creative & a progressive thinker to assist with creating successful campaigns
- Ability to work proactively & independently on initiatives without supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with parents, players, & coaches to obtain content
- Able to commit 10-20 hours a week
