Interim Healthcare is searching for a Part-time Office Assistant to help answer the phones, assist with scheduling, and process paperwork. We are looking for about 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, and we're very flexible and willing to work with your schedule for the right candidate.
Our business hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. However, we are a 24/7 agency and need someone on standby to handle scheduling problems that sometimes occur after hours. All employees participate in the on-call rotation, which provides additional compensation to handle calls after hours. We are looking for someone that can do at least a couple days a week on the on-call rotation.
Reliability and clear communication are the keys to success in this position and the right candidate can expect to grow into a much larger role at our company in the future.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- A warm, compassionate personality that seeks to help other people. You will be talking to people that are going through the toughest parts of their lives while trying to care for sick family members. Sometimes this stress can be misdirected to you. It's absolutely essential that you meet these challenges with warmth, caring, and understanding.
- Native or near-native ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to speak Spanish is high valued, as some client calls come from family members that are Spanish speakers with very limited English.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
- Proficient with modern computer software, such as Gmail and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in healthcare is a big plus!

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
