Our Campbells' location in Winslow, ME is currently hiring for a Part Time Greenhouse Associate!
What we are looking for:
- Provide top-tier customer service and product information in the greenhouse and on the store sales floor.
- Maintain greenhouse products which may include: plant, water, place, organize, care for, and merchandise a variety of live goods.
- Place and stage product in designated areas for optimal presentation.
- Validate loading tickets and process orders/deliveries accurately for customers to receive merchandise as expected in a timely manner.
- Unload deliveries, pull/push racks of product, consolidate, and cull live goods according to standards set by the manager.
- Perform all tasks as assigned, including cashiering, stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, processing shipments and store stocking, store cleanliness, sales, and operating equipment.
- Greet customers as they enter the greenhouse/store.
- Maintain department orderliness and cleanliness utilizing established standards found in Assigned Sections.
- Solicit customers to open an Campbell's Rewards account.
- Greenhouse Associates will be hired as seasonal employees. In most cases, this includes hours from April to end of July/beginning of August but is subject to location, sales, weather and seasonal needs. Due to seasonality of our business, hours will fluctuate during this time period
What we are looking for from you:
- No experience or formal education is required. Greenhouse experience is a plus.
- Should be able to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic math concepts.
- Ability to stand and walk store consistently for up to 4 hours or more at a time.
- Routinely bend, climb, and twist; the position requires the ability to retrieve, move, stock products and work in different temperature conditions.
- Must have the ability to process information and merchandise through a register system.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skills.
