Part Bought Loan Analyst
The Participation Bought Loan Analyst (PBLA) is responsible for the review of Agent Bank Notices for funding of Syndicated Loans where CMA is one (1) of a series of lenders backing a guarantor. The Analyst must evaluate and interpret the legal document's language to set up, maintain the billing and accrual schedules for each loan CMA is funding. The analyst evaluates the commitment availability and/or need for increase to fund the current request.

The Analyst must evaluate and interpret the legal document's language to set up, maintain the billing and accrual schedules for each loan CMA is funding. The analyst evaluates the commitment availability and/or need for increase to fund the current request.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze Agent Bank Notices and funding requests for proper format and completeness of information.
- Verify supporting documentation received meets Comerica's credit policy, GFT Wire
- Policy and LTS processing procedures.
- Post financial transactions related to funding, payments and fees. Using the AFS, DEALS, ComericaBusiness Connect, and PEGA systems.
- Set Up New Libor Loans in AFS.
- Manage repricing, rate index changes, conversions, and other miscellaneous transactions; and the accuracy and collection of unused commitment fees.
- Reconcile loan balances to agent bank notices to ensure AFS is in alignment with the Agent Bank.
- Review past loan activity to determine root cause of discrepancies.
- Ensure interest accruals and principal balances are accurate and reflected properly in the Banks financial reporting.
- Respond to audit requests.
- Acts as a liaison between agent banks, lenders, lending assistants, loan closing officers, relationship managers, administrative staff, group managers and other various department managers or colleagues.
- Collaborate to resolve discrepancies.
Position Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of Senior Commercial Loan Processor experience or equivalent
- 2-year Associate Degree in Accounting or 2 years of relevant work experience in reconcilement or balancing
- 2 years of account reconciliation experience or equivalent
- 2 years of customer service experience
- 1 year of experience with PC based mainframe systems, loan accounting systems, and Microsoft products
