Windsor Metal Finishing, a division of BEST Engineered Surface Technologies, was founded in 1992 and is located in central Florida, just south of Orlando. The company was developed to apply liquid high performance (PVDF) fluoropolymer Kynar coatings. This coating was designed specifically for the architectural industry, with a focus on coastal areas that experience harsh environmental conditions. Over the years, WMF has continuously improved its processes to provide the highest quality and service to our customers.

We are privileged and honored to be involved with finishing prestigious projects from Alaska to the tropical climate of Hawaii and the desert kingdoms of Saudi Arabia. We were also honored to coat the perforated aluminum curtain wall panels housing the LED system covering the lower 22 stories of the New World Trade Center Freedom Tower. Recently we have positioned ourselves to continue to excel in architectural coatings (liquid and powder), while also investing to expand our capabilities (PTFE, CARC, Cerakote, and others).

We are looking for a Production Line Worker/Packing Associate. As a Packing Associate, you will be part of a team that will ensure all our customer’s parts are provided a superior product by ensuring parts are packaged with care in a quality and consistent manner with safe delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
  • Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
  • Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
  • Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
  • Prepare products for shipping
  • Inspect products for damages; report as needed
  • Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
  • Stretch wrap the pallets for shipping
  • Packaging paper production
  • Taping boxes and palletizing them
  • All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail as well as warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to work with a diverse culture to help ways to improve processes, quality, and safety
  • The ability to perform basic math
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to walk, stand or stoop for an entire shift on a concrete floor
  • Ability to work in exposed sunlight and high ambient temperatures related to Florida
