ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Take direction from Team Leader and/or Supervisor
Follow schedule created by the Planner/Scheduler
Complete manufacturing orders quickly, accurately and carefully
Accurately label containers as required, making sure labels are clean in appearance, free from wrinkles and match manufacturing instruction
Accurately label boxes including ingredient labels as required
Adopt good housekeeping practices such as cleaning, organizing and removing trash
Immediately report and clean spills
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Verify batch numbers and product descriptions match manufacturing orders
Accurately count containers, place in boxes or on skids in a safe, orderly and efficient manner
Clean vessels, tools, containers and work area well to assure residual material is not present

Upon completion of a manufacturing order, remove bulk containers, skids and excess packaging to maintain inventory accuracy
Operate fork truck in a safe, cautious manner
Accurately account for time on time sheets and manufacturing orders
Accurately account for packaging or production supplies used
Wear appropriate safety equipment
Supporting other areas of production as designated by the Manufacturing Manager (shipping, receiving, packaging, deliveries)
