Physician / Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Owensboro Heart & Vascular (OHV), part of Owensboro Medical Practice, is seeking a patient centered Provider for comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in an cardiac care program. OHV has appropriate onsite diagnostic testing and CLIA lab facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provides compassionate patient care
• Performs history and physical assessments of patients that are accurate, complete, concise, relevant, and appropriate for age, gender, and clinical problem.
• Orders appropriate diagnostic studies and correctly interprets results.
• Counsels and educates patients and families.
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Requirements
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
BLS and ACLS certification and others as required and relevant to practice
Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner

Physician

• Active License in State of Kentucky
• Active DEA License.

Nurse Practitioner (APRN)

• Active APRN license in State of Kentucky and
• Active Board certification as and NP in Family or Adult

Physician Assistant

• Active PA board certification and
• Active PA license in State of Kentucky
• Autonomous team-oriented work setting
