POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Brentwood Springs Detox is accepting applications for the Overnight Detox Technician positions at our detox facility in Nashville, TN. Detox Technicians provide direct care to clients who enter the facility to receive treatment and undergo detoxification and stabilization. Individuals with a desire to serve and have demonstrated interest in addiction services are encouraged to apply!

POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with the admission and discharge process of clients.
• Providing direct care for all clients participating in services to include monitoring for behavioral needs/changes, medical symptoms and/or compliance with treatment plan.
• Supervising, assigning and assisting client with work therapy and treatment plan goals.
• Transporting clients with Brentwood Springs Detox vehicles.
• Maintaining a sanitary and therapeutically safe environment within the facility.
• Assisting with medication needs.
• Monitoring and enforcing random urinalysis.
• Conducting pat searches on clients and facility searches for contraband.
• Assisting with client clothing, bedding and other items as needed.
• Assisting in determining and enforcing sanctions for clients.
• Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional requirements as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Prior experience in direct client/patient care preferred. Preference given to those with experience working with individuals afflicted with substance abuse.
MUST have valid TN driver's license.

COMPENSATION:

• $17 per hour

* All applicants must pass a background check and will be asked to submit a drug screen prior to being hired
