Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales and gross margin targets within the full line of products or combination of products and services.
  • Create a business plan for developing new business and increasing share at existing accounts.
  • Coordinates use of all company resources (e.g. technical, marketing) to provide value added services to accounts.
  • Effectively use company-sponsored tools for time and territory management.
  • Develop and build strong rapport and relationships with customers.
  • Provide input to planning company product, price, and service strategies.
  • Support supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or vertical.
  • Prepare quotes and estimates.
  • Develop and build strong communication and partnerships with all coworkers and vendors.
  • Identify customer needs. Recommend appropriate products, systems, and programs to expand customer experience.
  • Assist Credit Department with new account applications
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively manage a sales territory and the selling process
  • Innovative problem solver; recognizing customer needs and providing streamlined solutions.
  • Strong PC skills and ability to learn and utilize various software programs.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Submit a background check and motor vehicle report.
  • And most of all, a strong ambition and drive to thrive at Dalco
  • Experience in Jan/San or related industry
  • Two years customer-facing experience
