We are looking for a motivated, intelligent, and friendly person to join our team. Our practice is a fast-paced, 4 optometrist office located in a busy retail setting. The applicant must be professional in attitude and appearance with the willingness to be part of a team in a medical/commercial setting. Computer skills are required and experience with OfficeMate software is a plus. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Eyewear fashion consulting
• Insurance verification and explanation
• Optical lens consulting
• Prescription lens verification with a lensometer
• Troubleshooting vision problems
• Frame adjustments and repairs
• Quoting prices
• Billing out medical procedures
• Communicating to patients via email and telephone
• Ordering lenses accurately through several portals

The position is for approximately 40 hours per week including some Saturday hours. Customer service is our priority, so a great personality is a must. No experience is required, but sales and optical experience will be given preference. Please forward your resume for consideration.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
