Ophthalmic Assistant / Technician

Primary Location: Spartanburg, SC *Must be willing to travel to our other offices as needed*

Hours: Full-time

Education: Minimum high school graduate or equivalent

Experience: 1-year experience in the medical field

Retina Consultants of Carolina, the Upstate's premier Retina specialists for over 25 years is looking for a great candidate to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician (OT). The Ophthalmic Technician works closely with the physicians and other technicians to provide high-quality care to each patient of the practice. Duties include performing preliminary testing, obtaining chief complaint and medical history, overseeing patient flow, prepping patients for procedures, and scribing for physicians.
