Nemours is seeking an Operations Supervisor Northeast Florida (Full-Time), to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
In collaboration with the Operations Manager, Nurse Manager, and Department Chair/Division Chief, the Operations Supervisor Northeast Florida position oversees the administrative, clinical, and operational activities of their assigned departments. The Operations Supervisor Northeast Florida is responsible for the clinical flow of the Jacksonville divisions with direct over site and participation in activities related to practice operations.
Requirements:
In collaboration with the Operations Manager, Nurse Manager, and Department Chair/Division Chief, the Operations Supervisor Northeast Florida position oversees the administrative, clinical, and operational activities of their assigned departments. The Operations Supervisor Northeast Florida is responsible for the clinical flow of the Jacksonville divisions with direct over site and participation in activities related to practice operations.
- Collaborates with the Department Chairs and/or Division Chief to provide administrative and operational oversight within the clinic.
- Provides support to the Department Chair and/or Division Chief in the development, communication, and implementation of clinic goals and objectives.
- Has a cooperative working relationship with the practice management and nursing leadership teams to advance the goals and objectives of the departments.
- Monitors and reports performance in department/division Next Frontier Goals.
- Identify trends and develop and implement countermeasures when necessary.
- Has input into hires, supervises, and provides feedback of clinic administrative assistant staff, surgery schedulers, and other staff assigned by operational leaders; establishes their standard work processes, audits standard work processes.
- Coordinates with chair, chiefs, administrative assistants, and Patient Access Center access on physician and non-physician scheduling templates to achieve access and productivity goals.
- Interact with departments and ambulatory leadership to resolve daily operational problems, improve coordination of systems and processes and work toward mutual goal attainment. This includes participation in the daily management system daily tiered huddles.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively with physician, nursing, and administrative leadership.
- Demonstrated success in applying performance improvement methodologies and project team facilitation.
