Our client, a global omnichannel retailer, is seeking a temporary Marketing Operations Associate to join their team at a hybrid capacity in Hoboken, NJ.Job Duties Include:
- Assist in the development of ways of working between multiple teams.
- Schedule meetings for lessons learned sessions and gather feedback.
- Capture problems and take that information to map out how teams can work better together.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of each group.
- Help groups understand how milestones are being measured.
- Build partnerships across company and the enterprise.
- Proactively reach out to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Support Operations Manager in streamlining and optimizing ways of working across teams such as Omni Capabilities and Client Solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across company marketing, Site, company Creative, Account Planning & Sales, etc. to map out process, ways of working, and establish process and R&Rs.
- Become an integral partner in ensuring clear ways of working are established and maintained.
- Partner with Marketing Operations peers to iterate and improve processes.
- Report to Marketing Operations Manager and work closely with them to map and iterate on processes.
- Lead working sessions and lessons learned with cross-functional teams to capture learnings and develop solutions
- Drive collaboration and efficient ways of working on key workstreams within teams
- Partner with Operations Manager to map out complex marketing processes and streamline ways of working
- Create a clear DACIN model for teams to drive clarity on roles and duties
- Ensure teams are effectively using project management tools
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience in project management, operations, and process mapping within a marketing org.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand the end-to-end process, and not be solely focused on completing individual tasks
- Excellent communication skills to effectively partner with team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in working in a larger organization preferred.
- Experienced in developing and optimizing processes in an agile model
- Skilled in managing complex timelines with multiple stakeholders
- High emotional intelligence, able to read the room/zoom effectively
- Proficient in project management of campaigns, with the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how timelines and processes intersect.
