About this Role: You would be working 14 days on 7 days off. Workdays are 12-hour shifts but can work overtime. Overtime kicks in after 40 hours and goes to time and half. Holidays are double time pay.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Tear down and rebuild oilfield operations equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, identify problems, and repair defects.
  • Read and understand drawings/plans and technical manuals which guide disassembly/reassembly and testing work.
  • Select proper repair techniques.
  • Conduct inspections for leaks, flaws, and defects using high pressure testing equipment.
  • Perform Field Work as needed.
  • Perform field repairs.
  • Reassemble specialized components at field job locations.
  • Rig up and assist with field operations.

Education, Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years related experience and training.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of heavy oilfield equipment repair techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of the use of using precision measuring and torquing devices.
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment packing procedures and methods
  • Extensive knowledge of the suitability of various threads, flanges, and equipment working pressures; ability to identify types/sizes of threads and flanges.
  • Familiarity with Rental Tool Management Systems is highly desirable.
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend English.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to do basic operations of math including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
