Office Manager
Job description
SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate for this position must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service across the organization and externally. In addition, the Office Manager supports the objectives of the region through the management of all administrative functions while demonstrating professionalism and attention-to-detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Point person for office maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, etc.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Process travel expense report reconciliations for regional management team members.
- Plans on and off-site company and/or customer meetings and events; attends meetings as needed.
- Communication with both internal and external personnel in person, by telephone or through correspondence; handling all information in a confidential manner.
- General accounting responsibilities (accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections and other accounting related tasks).
- Manage contract approval process including coordination with legal, sales, finance and operations teams.
- Organize and schedule meetings.
- Prepares business presentations as requested by departments using Microsoft PowerPoint and other various suitable methods.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Railroad experience preferred but not required.
- Related Experience Required: 2 years relevant experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree in Administration or related field
