Day shift - approximate shift times: 5:30 a.m. - 4 p.m

Wages starting at $21.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train. Pay will be determined based on experience.

Hopkinsville Aggregates is a limestone quarry seeking candidates to fill our need for an off-road Haul Truck Driver in HOPKINSVILLE, KY. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operate haul trucks to remove overburden and vegetation.
  • Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Effective communication skills applicable to position.
  • Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to safe work practices.
  • Previous experience operating both articulated and rigid frame haul trucks preferred.
  • Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen.
