JOB PURPOSE
OEM Sales and Support of Topcon products in the European Construction market.
The job can be based in Germany; United Kingdom;
CORE JOB DUTIES
Develop and manage new and existing customer accounts in the Construction market. Assist customers in adapting Topcon technology into their business. Develops and executes a sales plan. Prospects f Basic Function: Provides strategic sales direction, sales planning and execution of sales plans to achieve the Annual Operating Plan sales goals and growth projections of the company.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops overall Sales Strategy for assigned territories Develops overall sales plans to execute strategies. Prepares written plans and reviews with Managing Director and Senior Management as appropriate Maintains current customer base and identifies, pursues and obtains new customers Ensures sales goals are met and exceeded Prepares sales forecasts by account, product line, and product as required Obtains, reviews and synthesizes market and product knowledge and ensures company is aware and responding to market conditions and opportunities. (Voice of the Customer) Obtains competitive information on strategies, new products, and direction and communicates it to appropriate people within the company (marketing, engineering, senior management) Ensures consistency and collaboration within the company to ensure customers are serviced and supported in a comprehensive manner Works with Marketing to provide inputs for collateral materials and sales support documents Participates in trade shows and customer events Develops and obtains approvals from Senior Management on pricing strategies Prepares bids and proposals, negotiates contracts and agreements Works in a collaborative role with Engineering, Manufacturing and other departments of the company as appropriate. Participates in Corporate Strategic Planning Process Drives a sense of urgency within organization and company Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as required

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
BS in Business, Civil Engineering or Marketing or equivalent or related training and/or experience in Sales
8 or more years in a Sales capacity preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Knowledge of Sales process and techniques
Excellent customer service skills
Superior listening and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Creative drive and results oriented
Financially motivated to succeed
Prefer candidates with knowledge of construction/excavating technology
MANAGEMENT RESPONSBILITIES
