- The staffing manager is responsible for ensuring skilled nursing facility is adequately staffed for each work schedule in order to comply with state and federal regulations.
- The staffing manager organizes and prepares schedules based on availability, time off requests, acuity level and vacancies.
- Coordinates with other departments in filling positions to meet facility staffing requirements.
- Keeps and maintains attendance records.
- Receives and responds employee calls regarding scheduling issues, and prepares written correspondence when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Texas CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) license is required. CMA (Certified Medication Aide) license or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) license is preferred.
- Previous staffing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all staff and potential patients and family members.
- Ability to work flexible schedule based on staffing needs.
- Ability to be on-call and take after hours phone calls.
- Service oriented, positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor.
- Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities.
- Must pass background check, drug screen and provide proof of vaccinations.
- Must be able to lift 10+ pounds.
