We have partnered with a renowned Magnet hospital in White Plains, NY, on their search for a Nurse Manager for their Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the overall operations within the department. In this role, you will assist with various functions, including strategic management, human resources, financial management, performance management, relationship management, and professional accountability. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Develop departmental goals and objectives that align with the nursing and hospital strategic plans.
• Evaluate staffing needs based on budgets, patient census, and acuity.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to evaluate staff, assist with goal setting, and implement continual performance development.
• Develop and submit operational and capital budgets and analyze reports for variances.
• Identify key performance indicators, establish data collection methodology, and evaluate data outcomes.
• Attend and participate in programs and activities to maintain nursing knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

• A BSN is required.
• 3+ years of clinical experience.
• Prior management experience is preferred.

• Compensation: $112,000-169,000, depending on experience.
