This is a PRN position Mon-Fri 1:00pm-9:00pm
Essential Functions:
- Knowledge of professional theory, discipline of practice, regulations and practices to give and evaluate patient care
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
- Knowledge of acute and chronic care protocols, administration of medications, delivering physical care following treatment plan
- Skill in preparing and maintaining HER records
- Ability to communicate with professional practitioners, patients, and the general public
Successful candidates:
Master's degree required and a minimum of one-year clinical experience and expertise as a CRN, APRN, or PA within an Emergency Department or Hospitalist Service in the past 5 years is preferred
Current APRN or PA license
CPR, ACLS, PALS and ATLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Current registration with Drug Enforcement Agency
Obtain and maintain hospital credentialing criteria for adult and pediatric patients
