Builtech is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent candidate with Multi-Family experience to take ownership of and lead successful projects for our clients. Requiring self-sufficient team players ready to accept responsibility for sequencing and scheduling all aspects of a project driving the goal of on time delivery. Our best superintendents are strong leaders with high standards and a drive for excellence. They keep subcontractors informed of schedule and hold them accountable to scope and duration as agreed to within the contract. The Superintendent position is crucial to the overall success of Builtech projects.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with owners, client representatives, other contractors, etc.

· Implement and enforce on-site safety program to maintain a safe jobsite per the requirements of the Builtech Safety Plan

· Develop and manage project schedules.

· Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and ensure overall contractual performance.

· Provide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc.

· Implement and maintain tight quality control issues

· Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, management tools, standards, etc.

· Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements.

· Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety rules, company policies, etc.

· Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.

· Review change order requests prior to submittal to owners.

· Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction.

Requirements:

  • Full time travel is required for out of town projects across the nation. In addition to a negotiated salary, an additional stipend is paid for travel expenses
  • Minimum of three years of verifiable experience with a resume of three to five successful projects, completed on time with a satisfied owner
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as architectural drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals
  • Strong technical, and communication skills, including email and document management/organization
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to manage team of employees and multiple projects
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations
  • Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge and proficiency in the following computer software systems: Procore, Outlook, Excel, Word and Project
  • Must be willing to obtain an OSHA 30 certification
  • Must be able to lift/move materials up to 40lbs in weight
  • Highschool Diploma, GED or Equivalent experience is accepted

· Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
