MRI/Radiologic Technologist registered by ARRT for Position in Outpatient Setting in Merrillville, IN.

MUST be registered in Radiography with experience in MRI (Registered or Eligible in advanced modality.) Knowledge of Siemens equipment helpful. Hours would include Monday and Friday day shifts with some Tues-Thurs afternoon shifts until 8pm.

A Technologist that can appropriately screen patients while pleasantly preparing them for their exam is the best method for a successful exam. The Technologist must be hands on and competent with patient care while completing the exam.

Responsibilities include:

• Screening patients prior to examinations
• Consulting Radiologists and Referring Physicians regarding orders, previous imaging, and implant information when necessary
• Documenting clinical history, implant information, completing accurate patient logs
• Preparing the Scanner, cleaning and stocking the scan room
• Positioning the patient utilizing proper protocols and equipment
• Perform venipuncture to administer contrast agents according to policy and using universal precautions
• Experience with eRad Pacs System, InteleRad Pacs System, MedicsPremier EMR Systems helpful

Candidates should have:

R.T.(R) ARRT, (MR) a plus

Experience in MRI

CPR certified

IN State Radiologic Technologist License

Days/Evenings. Office hours from 7am-8pm

Part time

NO Holidays, NO On-Call, NO Weekends

Pay based on experience starting at $35 per hour

Company provided scrubs annually after 90 days
