Mosquito Shield is a leader in the Mosquito Control industry, celebrating 20 years in the space, and the Greater Maryland team is looking to grow its team of entry-level and/or experienced Field Technicians/Applicators.

No State of Maryland Pesticide Applicator Licensing needed to apply (We will address licensing with you; A plus if you are already a licensed applicator in Maryland and/or the District of Columbia). Paid training offered.

We are seeking technicians to help service customers within our territory area for the 2023 season, which runs from April through Mid-October. Our technicians are highly valued team members that have a chance to help establish their routes and grow their earning potential quickly!!! Earn compensation above a base of $600-800 per week. What We Offer:

• Competitive base pay (Experience will be considered) – Paid weekly

• Uncapped commission and bonus incentives.

• Work Monday-Friday (with occasional Saturdays possible).

• Paid training and licensing provided by employer. Licensing not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Help implement marketing plan for mosquito and tick control services.

• Manage a route with efficiency and professionalism.

• Spray properties with precision and expertise.

• Provide excellent customer service to retain existing and attract new customers.

• Expertly answer frequently asked client questions.

• Confidently provide the proper recommendations to customers.

• Properly maintain equipment and service vehicle.

• Properly and promptly communicate with the team.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license & clean driving record.

• Excellent people skills.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to carry a 55-60lb backpack sprayer.

• Willingness to work outdoors.

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

• Having a valid state pesticide license is a plus! (not a requirement since company will handle this as part of the training process)
