A Merchandise Processor contributes to rue21’s results by preparing store shipments by Picking and Packing merchandise into outbound cartons. A great teammate effectively communicates with their Peers and Leadership team and takes ownership of position responsibilities with critical attention to detail.

• Commits to supporting rue21’s vision, mission, and values of an inclusive environment and sets an example for their sphere of influence
• Accurately Pick and Pack merchandise into outbound cartons with the use of a hand-held device
• Prepare outbound cartons by taping and pushing them onto the conveyor
• Identify information on Shipping label pertaining to specific slot locations
• Maintain established productivity standards
• Keep work area clean and free of clutter to maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 
  High School education or equivalent
• Prior Warehouse and/or Distribution experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Engaging interpersonal skills that foster relationships with cross-functional partners
• Efficient organization, prioritization, and time management skills
