Please note that there are three open positions in Plano (near Dallas, TX), Richmond Hills (near Houston, TX), Rochester Hills (near Detroit, MI). Sales Directors will need to be onsite in their respective markets.

Job Description

The Sales Director is a critical team member in our organization, providing a best-in-class experience for potential resident families as they begin the process to find an appropriate living community. The Sales Director is a trusted advisor to help prospective residents and their families navigate the sales process, ensure that each resident understands our value proposition, answer all their questions, direct them to the correct resources, and address their needs. They are responsible for closing sales according to our goals for pre-leasing and stabilization .

Job Description

  • This position reports directly to the Corporate Head of Sales.
  • Engage with seniors in a manner that is empathetic, caring and culturally sensitive.
  • Setup calls and meetings with potential resident families that have been vetted by the call center, and guide them through the process of finding the right home
  • Ensure very personalized and professional communication with all prospective residents.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, chats, text messages and any other form of communication as needed during the sales process. Document all interactions in the CRM.
  • Book in-person and virtual tours between prospect families and community Sales Directors. Demonstrate the ability to have strong conversions in this area.
  • Ensure prospective resident families have necessary information to attend tours by providing day-before or day-of reminders, and follow-up with potential resident families after engaging with community tour
  • Work within a given geography, and team with the Community Directors from the associated communities, as well as appropriate referral organizations.
  • Regularly and continuously engage with prospective residents who have reserved units during the pre-leasing process.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a sales function in senior living, hospitality, real estate or rental properties.

Skills & Knowledge requirements

  • Effective written and oral communication skills. South Asian language skills are a plus.
  • Patience, empathy and cultural awareness
  • The ability to collaborate effectively - this individual will be working closely with our Head of Sales, Marketing and Community Directors.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and strong general computer proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,386.00 - $193,388.00 per year

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
