Responsibilities

You need an active LPN for this role.

The Medical Operations Manager is responsible for supervision of Medical Assistants in all facilities in their assigned region. This position includes supervision of cost management, staff development, implementation of strategic initiatives, and adherence to policy and procedure.

  • Ensures that service standards are met or exceeded by utilizing patient satisfaction, best practices, and market information to improve patient service and satisfaction.
  • Ensures each Medical Assistant is completing all necessary pre-assessment tasks (documentation, consents, vitals, UDS, breathalyzer) prior to joining telehealth appointment.
  • Provides training and plans daily work schedules for all Medical Assistants.
  • Assists with overseeing treatment provided by Medical Assistant staff, and able to provide direct nursing care as necessary.
  • Monitors scheduling, documentation, communication, and productivity for all Medical Assistants.
  • Understanding of basic budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Ensures intake rooms are supplied and maintained.
  • Hosts monthly staff meetings.
  • Ensures all scheduled shifts are covered.
  • Tracks Patient Engagement, providing feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborates with other departments and professionals to streamline operations.
  • Verifies Medical Assistants are providing a warm, safe, and comfortable environment for the patients.
  • Completes performance reviews and disciplinary action as needed for the Medical Assistant team.
  • Conducts competency checks for Medical Assistants and Floor Nurses as a backfill.
  • Daily audit of rounding & intake room supplies to ensure they are organized and up to standards for facility.
  • Identifies processes to improve overall performance of health centers and defines innovative measurements of performance standards to integrate corporate strategies.
  • Inspects, enforces, and ensures that medical operations related policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to, expecting the highest in compliance and patient care standards as established and required of Landmark Recovery.
  • Responsible to the training, growth, and improvement of all Medical Assistant staff.
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
  • Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • 2+ years prior experience working with Substance Abuse populations
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position
  • Previous experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred
  • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
  • Commitment to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
  • Authorization to work in the US is required
  • Active Practical Nursing License in all facility states they will operate in
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
  • CPI Certification (strongly preferred)
  • First Aid Certification
