Seeking a Highly Motivated, Enthusiastic, and Dedicated individual to join our team at a Health Care/Physician Practice in Visalia. Family Practice Clinic, 35+ yrs, multiple providers, including FNP's, 50 patients / day is typical.

Bilingual is a Helpful but not req., Benefits Package incl. Med/Dental/Vision, 401K and Match, Holiday and 2 wks. Paid Vacation. M-F, and lots of additional perks.

Must be eager to learn, flexible, detail orientated, team oriented. Prior Clinical Exp. is preferred but not required. Must be able to type at 40 WPM minimum, and navigate effectively with computer systems. Current Medical Assistant Certificate or higher required, experience with Electronic Medical Records is helpful / training is provided.

Position duties include Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, Verifying insurance eligibility, Referral's Requests, Telehealth Visits, Requesting Prior Authorizations, Greeting Patients, triage and obtaining vitals in preparations for the patient to be evaluated by the provider, medications review, perform HGB A1C, EKG's, Breathing Treatments, and Administer Injections, assist provider with biopsies, suturing, etc.

Position is Full time. Small family practice with set hours, friendly staff.

Starting Wage Range: $16.00 - $17.50 / hr, Starting Date: ASAP'
