Vehicle Transportation Driver

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess a Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record for last 5 years(MVR)
• Ability to count and perform basic math
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry hand freight weighing up to 65 pounds several times a week.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck and golf cart
• Transport carts safely and securely
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member

Pick up and deliver golf carts between business locations and customersResponsibilities and Duties

• Operate SUV/Pick up truck and trailer combination
• Hook/unhook trailers to/from an SUV/Pick up truck
• Secure carts on trailers using straps and ratchet tie downs
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch as required, including but not limited to: delays, arrival and departure, paperwork
• Able to follow directions to locations and a strong knowledge of West Palm Beach and surrounding areas
• Communicate with customers to determine pick-up or delivery needs
• Perform basic mechanic skills while not delivering
• Perform other duties as required

*MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY TO DRIVE 1 WEEKEND DAY EVERY WEEK with a day off during the mid-weekJob Type: Full-time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
