Overview:

The Wireless Marketing Specialistuses insights and data to develop and execute strategic marketing plans and promotional strategies that achieve sales, retention, and other goals for the Wireless line of business. This includes identifying customer insights, managing the development of key messages, measuring performance of marketing initiatives, and creating/driving promotional strategies that maximize customer growth while optimizing spend. This position collaborates closely with key stakeholders – including sales, creative, digital marketing and media, and research – to create and launch marketing programs and promotions. This position is also responsible, along with the other team members, to drive the C Spire brand forward, leveraging the company’s brand attributes. This position reports to the Manager, Marketing Strategy - Wireless.

  • Develop, implement and support marketing plans, campaigns and promotions with a focus on wireless sales and customer retention.
  • Make data driven decisions by analyzing activations, deactivations, port data, device mix, credit class mix, research, and financial projections. Optimize and report on results.
  • Collaborate with wireless sales, product, finance, digital marketing & media and other teams to create and deploy successful marketing strategies and promotions.
  • Own and execute all aspects of wireless promotions by creating and executing promotional strategies that maximize customer growth while optimizing spend.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor the success of promotions based on data analysis and predictive models with a focus on wireless sales and customer retention.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting on promotional spend, performance and projected demand to stakeholders to achieve sales goals and ensure adequate inventory levels ahead of promotional periods.
  • Continually review and analyze promotional expenses, and work with vendors to arrange co-funding for key promotions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field or the equivalent in related work experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience and experience developing go-to-market strategies preferred.
  • Experience developing sales and retention campaigns, creating financial projections, managing financial budgets and project management.
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Additional skills including strong written, verbal and organization skills; excellent planning and execution; strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
