What we want
The Marketing Specialist will help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels for Undergraduate Recruitment & Outreach. This includes researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization's marketing strategy, developing content and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Two years of communications, marketing, or related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of marketing experience.
- Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, CRM systems and content management systems
Essential Duties/Tasks:
- Content Creation - Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns and events. Support Communications Coordinator in the development and creation of content for marketing materials, such as print collateral, emails, social media, and advertisements, and ensure brand editorial guidelines are met. Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.
- Market Research - Research trends and technologies that will maximize the user experience staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends to identify new marketing opportunities. Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing Strategist to conduct focus groups and surveys of internal and external audiences to current on market trends. Research trends and best practices in higher education to improve and innovate recruitment marketing efforts. Maintain university rankings for the promotion of recruitment marketing efforts.
- Strategic Collaborations - Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives. Coordinate marketing analytics and reporting to track and measure the effectiveness of our communications efforts against established goals and to improve future communications. Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
