We are growing again! We have an exciting new opportunity at our corporate headquarters for a Corporate Marketing Manager. This role will be a hybrid role, meaning a blend of working in office and from home, with occasional travel

The successful candidate will lead and support the growth of our corporate marketing strategies as well as contribute to the mentorship of various sales offices and personnel as assigned.

Scope of work:

1. Drive, monitor and manage all aspects of marketing for Slingshot Transportation, Inc., Slingshot Brokers, Inc., and Produce Depot, Inc.

2. Analyze, research, evaluate, develop, and propose marketing plans.

3. Develop marketing programs and oversee websites, promotional materials, eMarketing and social media, etc.

4. Mentor sales teams: contribution to sales strategies, tactics and accountability for branch locations as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge

· Proven track record that demonstrates comprehension of corporate marketing.

· A high-level understanding of sales methods and processes

· Broad experience of marketing campaigns including websites, internet marketing, eMarketing, social media.

· Knowledge in freight brokering, trucking and logistics industry is an asset.

Skills and Abilities

· Leadership skills and proven ability to gain high levels of trust.

· Must be a team player and provide leadership with proven management of colleagues and staff.

· Effective listening with strong communication and negotiation skills.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Fluent in verbal/written English.

· Professional telephone etiquette

· Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and problem solve often in some state of distress.

· Able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

· Experience using Microsoft applications.

· Knowledge of industry-specific software is an asset such as load management and load tendering.

· Ability to travel within USA and Canada
