Marketing Manager I, Bosch & Thermador Refrigeration
Irvine, CA/ Full-time
Your responsibilities
The Marketing Manager I will be responsible for recommending pricing, promotion and placement and will influence the product in collaboration with the Product Owner. The Marketing Manager I will be tracking their category’s T/O and profit in regard to the definition of regional product assortments and target price positioning.
Marketing Manager I will coordinate launch efforts with brand, social media, PR and sales along with support from the Product Owner and will be responsible for ongoing success of new launches and running business.
They will ensure local implementation of regional and global marketing and brand strategies and will provide inputs to the product development processes and ensures coherence with market requirements for product and corresponding digital consumer experience. They will collaborate with sales, demand planning, factories and supply chain to ensure business is running smoothly.
The Marketing Manager I will be managing a smaller or medium sized category with less complexity and will have the assistance of more senior staff or the Head of BU in strategy definition and delivering the KPIs.
· Recommend, monitor and steer assortments/ portfolio at regional level across US and Canada (incl. framework for channel management regarding assortment and pricing)
· Analyze, compile and define market requirements concerning trends, consumers, competitors, distribution, based on regional consumer journey framework, supported by regional Experts
· Analyze and recommend strategic price positioning, define min./target revenues for sales channels based on regional targets
· Coordinate go-to-market approach for new products / launches
· Conduct POS analysis and recommend measures to enhance POS positioning
· Support omni-channel marketing teams with assets and product information
· Prepare and present the product line to the dealers
· Be the key sales interface for running business and new launches
· Track variants & recommend measures to fulfill variant reduction targets
· Support decision on general product concepts and contribute to product development process based on local CEJ Operating Model
· Support sales areas/ subsidiaries to ensure successful implementation of business unit strategy (e.g., definition of promotional activities)
· Assist (Senior) Product Marketing Managers with their tasks
Your profile
· Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing) – Required
· Master's Degree (Business, Marketing) – Preferred
· 0-2 Years of Experience (category management, product management, product marketing, innovation management (less qualified individual)) – Required
· 3-5 Years of Experience (category management, product management, product marketing, innovation management (highly qualified individual)) – Required
· Optimistic, creative and motivating personality, with excellent problem solving skills
· Willingness to learn about the market and the consumer
· Fundamental understanding of value chain with focus on marketing and sales
· Sensing of market trends and gaps and resulting product opportunities
· Basic knowledge of Go-to-Market and product launches
· Knowledge in assortment management and pricing
· Awareness of critical future capabilities based on strategic ambition and existing gaps, ability to close those gaps and set further trends
· Strong collaboration/ communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders, sought-after networker & partner
· Analytical, planning and negotiation skills
· Ability to provide purpose, commitment and transparency as well as setting clear expectations
· Travel required based on business needs; domestic and international
· Travel Percentage – 30%
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the maximum payout potential is 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
