We are seeking qualified candidates to join the growing TideSmart Operations Team.

The Operations Team maintains and delivers operational excellence in activation, staffing, and logistical planning for unique marketing projects throughout the U.S. (e.g. event marketing, mobile tours, exhibit marketing, etc.).

Members of the Operations Team monitor payments and budgets, manage individual contracts, communicate event requirements, and develop sound operational plans leading to clear product/service initiatives which will help drive sales for clients. The Operations Team oversees venue negotiation, communication and coordination efforts in support of client goals and within available budget parameters.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Work closely with field personnel, vendors and subcontractors to manage various programmatic and project processes.
  • Develop & maintain solid relationships with venues and vendors that will ensure exceptional event and program experiences for our clients.
  • Coordinate/secure local permits, onsite services (e.g. security, power, water delivery, etc.) and related assistance to meet the needs of assigned projects, participating staff and local regulations
  • Assist with key venues/events-related administrative needs (e.g. COI coordination)
  • Assist with route development and pre-qualification requirements
  • Participate in status meetings and coordinate answers to questions and information requests from key stakeholders.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years prior experience in tour management, event operations, marketing or related environment
  • Tech Savvy, with a strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience setting and meeting goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as sometimes required for events
  • Willingness to travel as needed for events and projects

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand when filing. Some lifting and physical work could also be involved at events and assisting with warehouse logistics at TideSmart HQ. When at events there could be significant standing, walking and lifting up to 50lbs in an outdoor environment.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasional event travel required.
