New York Water Tours is seeking a skilled Welder who will work on our fleet of vessels Maintaining and repairing where needed.The position will require metal fabrication both in our shop, vessels and in the field.Must be able to follow plans , specs and verbal directions for completion of assigned tasks and projects.You must be able to weld in all positions ( flat , vertical and overhead. You must also be able to produce welds on rusty deformed metal during repairs. Work will also include assisting maintenance and engineering to complete projects as well when there isn't welding to be done

Job Scope

MIG, TIG, Stick & Structural Welding

Repair Welding

Pipe & Mechanical

Able to weld Steel , Black iron aluminum and stainless steel

Requirements

• Basic Tools for the Trade
• Proper PPE must be worn: Hood and Gloves And jacket

Compensation

$25-28/hr

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
