Candidate Source has a temp-to-hire position available for a Manufacturing/Fabrication Coordinator with a growing automation manufacturer in Colonial Heights, VA.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the material flow, storage, and quality of manufactured components, purchased components, and outsourced components including the kitting of those components for assemblies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for organization and planning of all assembly parts, both production, and service.
• Responsible for kitting and staging all parts, whether fabricated or purchased, on the appropriate assembly bin prior to assembly start.
• Responsible for entering the data for all fabricated parts into the system on a daily basis to check for completion.
• Maintain all 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Available to work a Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM Schedule
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment required. However, a combination of experience and/or further education will be taken into consideration.
• ERP experience required.
• Ability to interpret and understand mechanical drawings required.
• Exemplary organizational skills are required.
