What You Will Do:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our customer programs team to support our energy, sustainability, and infrastructure work with utility clients across the US. You might be a good fit if you have a blend of strong project management skills and analytical, technical, and creative skills essential for conducting process evaluation and customer experience research for energy efficiency and building electrification programs.

Responsibilities:
Lead teams to design, implement, and analyze primary research including online and phone surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groups
Analyze industry market data with a focus on how utility customers interact with and experience energy-related technologies and programs
Creatively develop visually compelling and human-centric insights and recommendations
Communicate strategies and solutions to clients through comprehensive reports and compelling presentations
Participate in team meetings and communication threads on email and Teams as needed to provide proactive status updates and to communicate/elevate issues as necessary
Drawing on our team’s solutions and delivery expertise, develop strategies to meet specific client needs, manage work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborate with team leadership keeping them abreast of project progress and important developments
Participate in and lead business development, trainings, knowledge sharing and cultural efforts

What You Will Need:
A degree with an emphasis on human-centric research and design, analysis, logical reasoning, and/or problem solving (e.g., social science, economics, market research, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant industry or consulting experience
Experience conducting primary and secondary research such as surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus groups
Work experience in clean energy and/or sustainability
Positive, collaborative, team-oriented attitude
Proactive communication; doesn’t leave the team guessing about status or steps
Follow-through on commitments; little to no say-do gap
An inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvement
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly developed organizational and management skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

What Would Be Nice To Have:
Utility energy efficiency and demand response program strategy, design, and/or evaluation, measurement, and verification experience
Technical understanding of process evaluation and design
Ability to “tell the story,” conveying key takeaways of technical work in a way that is actionable and relatable to clients as well as a general, less technical audience
Project management experience
Proficiency in SPSS or other statistical software
Masters Degree

The annual salary range for this position is $98,400.00-$196,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
