Summary:
Will be responsible for managing activities and resources in support of IT projects that will impact multiple departments and systems, with high risk complexity or multiple simultaneously with lesser to moderate risk and complexity. Develop, maintain and communicate project plans and drive project to completion, on time and within budget. Lead with integrity and respect.
Responsibilities:
- Continue to grow a Project Management culture by mentoring other team members using the project management processes and manage projects by example.
- Co-manage an IT Project Portfolio process to prioritize and evaluate dependencies for IT’s project deliverables.
- Utilize a centralized repository for IT’s project management documentation. Develop/enhance templates and standards to be used by IT resources for managing projects.
- Liaise with management at all levels of the business, managing their expectations for project delivery, escalating project issues, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership as appropriate.
- Leads planning, and manages execution of projects with other IT resources.
- Develop and manage project financial, resource requirements and monitors governance adherence.
- Review, update and maintain IT processes, diagrams websites, etc. (e.g., Change control, master testing checklist, IT repository, SOPs etc)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have at least seven years of experience
- Completed and submitted BVSD online application
- Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English
Preferred:
PMI Project Management Professional Certification- Agile, Lean or Scrum Professional Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Change Management Certification
Salary Information:
Salary Range 7: $78,730 - $118,095
Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.
- Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to BVSD or current BVSD employees that are new to the employee group (existing employees currently in this unit please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule). BVSD engages in a salary placement process vs. a salary negotiation process. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience and education.
