Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Manager, Physician Recruitment and Alignment for their Corbin, KY market. This will be a work from home role, but requires residency in KY, IN or IL. Preferred location would be Corbin, London or Richmond, KY.
This role is a combined position focused on recruitment, onboarding, and physician alignment initiatives. Success in this position will be evidenced by the placement of physicians in approved open positions, retention of current medical staff physicians, and successful onboarding of physicians.
Additionally, this position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships between Baptist Health Medical Group and key independent physicians in an effort to improve patient access, increase awareness of the system resources and services, and facilitate collaboration on quality/safety initiatives. Responsible for developing and coordinating service line promotion and referral activities to achieve volume/revenue goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, initiate, and maintain physician, provider, and office contact/relationships with referral growth/volume.
- Facilitate meetings with physicians, providers, and their community entities to provide information, gather market intelligence, and understand referral patterns. Assess individual physician referral patterns and seek ways to increase service line.
- Identify and communicate key trends in service gaps and/or breakdowns that would be critically important to long term physician/customer relations and recommend solutions. Provide input on the development of new clinical services so that they are constructed with the referring physician in mind.
- Assist in the development of provider networks which may be required by Baptist Health for the expansion of continuum of care.
- Identify new physicians entering practice and coordinate/assist with the onboarding of their practice and/or the integration of the new physician into an established practice.
- Manage and oversee the physician recruitment initiatives and processes to include scheduling site visits, hospital tours, and community promotion as needed.
- Attend and participate in career fairs and local recruiting events.
- Maintain post hire relationships to ensure retention and physician satisfaction/engagement.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
- Bachelor Degree in business, marketing healthcare administration, or related field. Equivalent and relevant experience may be used to offset some educational requirement.
- 3+ years previous experience preferably involving physician recruitment, physician relationship management, or healthcare sales experience.
