JOB DESCRIPTION:
SMASH Residential, is looking for the absolute best to join our team as a Maintenance Technician at our new lease-up, high end luxury property in Lincolnshire, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative company and the ability to work in an energized and fun environment.

The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining the common areas of the property, responding to emergency calls, managing work load, and other job responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical.
• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to make sure that it is always has exceptional curb appeal at all times.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
• Ensure service requests are responded to within 24 hours.
• Able to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work in coordination with staff, vendors, contractors and residents to promote and sustain the safety, cleanliness and upkeep of the building including daily property walks, equipment assessment, work orders and preventative maintenance.
